Pool
We are actively working on a pool for the hotel.
We have not settled on a design and no completion date has been established. Things can and do move very fast here. Since I have been saying this for 4 years, I would be sceptical. The true test will be the "The pool is finshed" Post. At that point you can be fairly certain it is not Bovine Scatology.

Progress
I am saying that the pool has reached the stage that funding has been allocated. Just as soon as we get a design we will start building the pool I have been promising for a few years.
When we have the pool finished I will let us all know.

I am actively considering a visit to the hotel.
I have not settled on a date, and I do not know where the necessary money will come from. I am capable of moving very quickly. I have been thinking about this trip for 3 years, but I am indecisive. The acid test will be when Carlos meets me at the airport. At that point, I will know that my visit is a reality.

Your Concern
I appreciate that in some respects the vacation seems to good to be true and therefore must not be true. On the other hand I would expect that any one with an issue would have discussed it here for all to share.
Our booking precedure is simple. Pick a vacation date and vacation length and send me an email. I will gladly prepare a vacation folio which describes the cost of the vacation and also assures you that a room and your escort is waiting for you. At that point you can find flights to the Santo Domingo (SDQ) Airport and send me the details. We do ask for your real/passport name. This is so we can seek airline assistance in finding you should we miss each other. On one occassion a guest not only did not travel on the flight he had indicated, he flew on a completely different airline. We were there to meet him. We are, and most importantly the vacation is very real.

To TSAAVMWV I would like to say that the real acid test is when Carlos lines up all the incredibly beautiful chicas for you to pick. This was a shock for me. On my first visit I didn't quite know what to expect and what I found was a very beautiful young woman who was friendly, passionate, had a great sense of humor and extremely eager to please me.
I will be making my 3rd trip in December. Carlos is always there when I come through customs. I hope you decide to go. It is an amazing vacation. One I never dreamed I would ever be able to have. Barbaro

Bogiemaker is right about the chicas not liking to get their hair wet. I always bring a couple shower caps with me that I accumulate from hotel stays during the year. My chica appreciates my thoughtfulness and her hair doesn't get wet when we shower together.

Carlos, looks like you are finally going to have that hole in the ground to pour your money into :-).
Seriously it looks like a good start and I wish you well. Are you still thinking about another location in addition to the Boca Chica resort?
